Our spring wreaths are made with fresh salal and several varieties of huckleberry including sweet huck, red huckleberry, and green huckleberry. We recommend you hang your fresh spring wreath outside because fresh air extends the life of this natural greenery. Climate and direct sunlight affect how long your fresh wreath will last. Hanging your wreath in a cool location with a good amount of shade will help it live longer. Some customers really want their wreath inside their home, and that is understandable. When placed indoors, they will last approximately 1-2 weeks with proper care. When displayed outdoors, they will last approximately 2-4 weeks in cooler climates and approximately 2 weeks in warmer climates when spritzed regularly with water and kept out of direct sunlight. The branches will slowly dry, creating a unique, dried rustic look over time. Please note that salal and huckleberry are not as hardy as the evergreens (noble fir and cedar) used to in our fresh holiday and Christmas wreaths and don't last as long.

All greenery should be kept away from heat sources that may dry them out such as direct sunlight, heat vents, and open flames. Always keep greens away from ignition sources.
